Santa Family Reunion
“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Santa and Mrs. Claus work hard all year to make children’s eye sparkle with delight and warm the hearts of friends and family. While they live at The North Pole, in March their hearts belong in Gatlinburg, Tennessee at the Santa Family Reunion Convention.
This convention brings together Santa Clauses from around the country to spend time together, share ideas and learn professional trade secrets. This is all while having good fun and filling the streets of Gatlinburg with love and laughter.
2019 was even more special as the Santa’s were “Coming Back Home” to celebrate their first gathering and convention, which started in Gatlinburg ten years ago. The organization has a clear mission for their time together. First, reunite with old friends and make new ones. Second, share ideas and learn special Santa skills, such as connecting with disabled children and learning sign language. But most of all, their mission is to celebrate the spirit of Christmas!
The really big event was the “Parade of Santa’s”. The 2019 parade was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Santa Reunion that started in Gatlinburg in 2009
